1. I had never sewn a day in my life
2. I didn't even know how to thread a bobbin or a sewing machine.
3. Heck, I had no idea what a bobbin was! ( I do now... thanks to Adrianna at Crafterhours!)
4. I recently moved to a foreign country (Greece)
5. I have lots of time on my hands - JUST KIDDING! Time flies by each day.. being filled with my 18 month old daughter, playdates and laundry.
6. I live a very glamorous life.
7. I use comedy to get me through my day.
8. I used to live across the street from a Michaels (you know, the super craft store). I used to walk by it on my way to Starbucks. I rarely went in. I am kicking myself now!
9. I am dreaming of making a quilt for my daughter one day.
10. I have the most fabulous HUSBAND and DAUGHTER! I am seriously blessed!!!
Ok.. so onto the crafts!!!!! I have to make sure I credit a lot of my "skills" to Adrianna and Maegan... two superstar crafters! I was in the dark about the whole craft-world! My eyes have been opened... I see the light.. and now I'm addicted to fabric and sewing!
My very first sewing project was a tiny skirt for Zoe! It's sooo cute and tiny... And Adrianna was a great teacher!
She even looks cute in it when she makes this kind of face....
I sometimes feel that way too!
And since my first skirt.... I've made 2 dresses, another skirt, 2 aprons, 2 oven mitts, bean bags and a couple of onesies! I know that there are more... but I need to save some of my crafts for my upcoming blogs!!!
